Dana Curtis, Co-founder

Dana is a lawyer and mediator.  She has designed and taught hundreds of courses about mediation and communicating in conflict, including at Stanford Law School, for over twenty years, and has written on mediation, empathy and forgiveness.  She has been acknowledged as one of the Top 50 Neutrals in California. 

Justine Durrell, Co-founder

Justine litigates cutting-edge cases in the areas of sexual torts, toxic torts (including mold cases), biotechnology torts and insurance bad faith.  She is a former board member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and former chair of its Women’s Caucus. Justine writes in the area of biotechnology and the law. 

Maja Ramsey, Co-founder

Maja is a mediator and teacher of conflict resolution.  She was the President of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and selected by TIME Magazine as one of America’s Top 10 women lawyers.  Maja also teaches conflict and collaborative communication skills working with horses.


Rebecca Westerfield, Co-founder

Rebecca is a former judge and founding member of JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services).  She has been recognized in SuperLawyers 2010 and 2011, and has consistently been recognized as one of the top 50 Best Neutrals since the inception of that honor.  Rebecca serves on the Advisory Board of Facing History and Ourselves, is a member of the International Human Rights Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the International Human Rights Center at UC Berkeley School of Law. Rebecca also teaches mediation and negotiation skills. 


G. Lee Fitzgerald

Lee is President and CEO of Venture Out, a San Francisco based private investment firm.  He began his professional career in 1983 as an associate with the Boston law firm of Csaplar & Bok. In the late 1980s he joined Venture Out as Vice President for corporate development.  He became President in 1987 serving in that capacity to the present.

Nonie Greene

Nonie is Senior Vice-President of Marketing and co-owner of Greene Companies, Inc., a family-owned real estate and property management firm specializing in office/commercial and industrial properties.

Jerry L. Vallery

Jerry is CEO of GlobalCom Capital Corporation and was a senior executive with Fortune 500 information technology companies. In the San Francisco Bay Area, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Pacific School of Religion, a trustee of the Glide Foundation and past-Chairman of the Board of Goodwill Industries Inc. for San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo Counties.
